Tonight’s matches decided which teams will be going into the last sixteen from Group F. Paris Saint-Germain won 1-0 against APOEL at the Parc des Princes, while Barça got the better of Ajax, 2-0, at the Amsterdam Arena. PSG stay top of the group with 10 points and FCB are one behind on 9. That leaves the Dutch (2) and Cypriots (1) out of contention, and the best they can now hope for his third and a place in the Europa League.

For the two qualifiers, there is still the matter of winning the group to decide. And it’s no small matter, because it means avoiding any of the other seven group winners in the second round draw, as well as playing the second leg at home.
