The blaugranes put in an excellent first half, composed in defence and effective in attack. They went point for point with Pesic's team in the first quarter with an 'alley-oop' from Satoransky a particular highlight after a great assist from Doellman. That score gave Barça a 14-22 lead before Bayern hit back to end the first quarter 17-22.

Three point party continues

Despite their comfortable lead Barça did not let up in the second half and Deshaun Thomas' triple three pointers gave the visitors a 27 point lead. Bayern did not throw in the towel and 11 points from John Bryant in the second half prevented an overwhelming win for Xavi Pascual's team. Barça racked up the points in the final quarter in search of the century but time ran out as they ended with a 77-99 victory to record their sixth consecutive win in Europe.
