Nyon ready for Champions League draw

Real Madrid, Atlético Madrid, Bayern Munich, Juventus, PSG, Porto and Monaco are FC Barcelona's potential quarter final opponents

On Friday at 12.00pm CET, Nyon (Switzerland) is the venue for the Champions League quarter finals draw. Barça are one of the eight teams that are into the last eight after knocking out Manchester City in the round of 16.

It will be a completely open draw, with no seeds and no keeping teams apart on the basis of nationality or previous meetings. That means that Barça could be drawn against either of the two Liga clubs, Atlético and Real Madrid, and also against PSG, who they already met in the group stage. Otherwise, the Catalans could also be drawn against Bayern Munich, Juventus, Porto or Monaco.

Home advantage in the first and second legs will also be determined on a completely random basis.

The club will be represented by its vice-president for sport, Jordi Mestre, the head of institutional relations with UEFA, Amador Bernabéu, and the director of professional football, Albert Soler.

The first legs will be played on April 14 and 15 and the return legs a week later on April 21 and 22. There will be another draw to decide the semi-final pairings, and the grand final is on Saturday 6 June in Berlin.
