The FC Barcelona U16 (Cadete) A team has won its league title after a comfortable 6-0 win over Damm at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, with goals from Jordi Mboula (2), Abel Ruiz (2), Ricard Puig and Xavier Toldrà. Managed by Quique Álvarez they are winners with two games in hand and thus become the fifth academy team to win their league title for FCB this season.

They have dominated their category with just one draw and two defeats in 28 games, scoring 113 goals and conceding just 18. The top scorers so far are Abel Ruiz and Jordi Mboula, with 22 each, and Ramon Rodríguez, with 16.

Their only defeats were 2-0 at home to fellow title contenders Espanyol (0-2), and 2-1 at CE Mataró (2-1), while it was Cornellà who managed to hold them to a draw. At one point they strung together 12 consecutive wins. The 6-0 win against Damm was just the latest in many huge victories. They also beat Girona 7-0, Bordeta Lleida 8-0 and Sant Andreu 11-0.
