On this very special day for Xavi Hernández, FC Barcelona prepared a special space for the 24 trophies that he has won in his time at the club. Following the emotional institutional tribute to the player in the Auditori 1899, Xavi posed with the extraordinary collection of silverware on the Camp Nou turf.
In this very special photograph, he appears smiling with the trophies won from 8 Ligas, 3 Spanish Cups, 3 Champions Leagues, 6 Spanish Super Cups, 2 European Super Cups and 2 Club World Cups. Those are the incredible haul that he has won in his illustrious career, and hopefully there is still one more to come – another Champions League, this time against Juventus at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin on Saturday.
