Neymar given four match ban after red card against Colombia

The Brazilian Football Federation have 24 hours to present an appeal against CONMEBOL's decision

The governing body of South American football CONMEBOL have handed Neymar a four game ban and a 10,000 dollar fine following his red card at the end of the game against Colombia. The judgement following incidents immediately after the final whistle in the game in which Brazil went down to a 1-0 defeat means that Neymar will now miss the rest of the tournament.

The Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) has 24 hours to present an appeal against the ruling.
