The World Supporters Clubs Confederation opened its doors in June
The World Supporters Clubs Confederation, made official last March, now has its home on the FC Barcelona premises. Since mid-June, the body has its own office in accordance with an agreement signed with FC Barcelona towards the end of last season.
The Confederation’s new office in in Plaça de la Fundació, at access 15 to the Camp Nou grounds, and employs four people who are at the service of the members of the supporters movement.
The body was founded as an independent one to FC Barcelona, and its objective is to bring together Barça supporters in general and the penyes movement in particular. It is also working hard to the lay the foundations for self-management, one of the main aims of the movement.
The body is working for a solid. Structured future for the penyes movement and has defined a series of projects for the next six years, as part of the Penyes Segle XXI 2015-21 scheme. The method continues to be the same, based on work commissions that are ultimately approved by the Penyes Council, which subjects matters to voting by the World Congress of Penyes.
