FC Barcelona have trained in what will be the venue for the second game of their American tour. On Friday morning, local time, they were at the Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, a spectacular stadium opened just a year ago and home to NFL team San Francisco 49ers.
The only member of the squad that didn’t join in with the 75 minute workout was Douglas, who did re-adaptation work separately. For the first time since the players arrived in the USA, they will be getting the afternoon off to relax.
Once the game with United is over, the squad will be flying straight to Washington, where they’ll play their third and final game in the United States. That’s against another English side, Chelsea.
