The two Brazilian players will end their holidays and then undergo the usual medicals in the morning before training alone in the afternoon
The Barça first team, who arrived back from the United States on Wednesday, will have two more to their name come this Thursday. Brazilians Neymar and Dani Alves will rejoin their team mates after their holidays following their participation in this year’s Copa América in Chile.
The two players will under the regulations medical tests which will take place at 9.00am CET at the Ciutat Esportiva. They will be accompanied by Barça keeper Marc-André ter Stegen, who returned to training 11 days earlier than was planned in order to take part in the US tour and did not undergo medical checks as a result.
In the afternoon starting at 6.30pm, Neymar and Alves will train at the Ciutat Esportiva alone. The rest of the squad will return to training on Friday with a double session. The same plan will be put into practice on Saturday 1 August with a session in the morning and one in the afternoon in preparation for Sunday’s game against Fiorentina at the Artemio Franchi stadium in Florence starting at 9.00pm CET.
