FC Barcelona's first week of official competition

The team will have seven demanding days with two Super Cup titles at stake against Sevilla and Athletic Club

With victory in the 50th Joan Gamper game against AS Roma, the Barça squad brought the curtain down on their 2015/16 pre-season. The competitive campaign is about to get under way for the blaugranes with two trophies up for grabs in the space of a week. On Monday morning the squad will head off to Tbilisi where on Tuesday they face Sevilla in the final of the European Super Cup.  Once back on Catalan soil they will return to training at the Ciutat Esportiva before travelling to Bilbao on Friday 14 August to take on Athletic Club in the first leg of the Spanish Super Cup in San Mamés. On 17 August the second leg will take place at Camp Nou to decide the fate of the second of the two titles at stake over the coming eight days.

Below are the details of the first team's agenda for the next week, all times CET:

Monday 10 August

9.00am: Flight to Tbilisi, Georgia.

7.00pm: Training session at the Boris Paichadze Stadium, venue for the final

Tuesday 11 August

8.45pm: European Super Cup final between FC Barcelona and Sevilla

Wednesday 12 August

6.30pm: Training at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper

Thursday 13 August

6.30pm: Training at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper

Friday 14 August

10.30am: Leave for Bilbao

10.00pm: First leg of the European Super Cup between Athletic Club and FC Barcelona in San Mamés

Saturday 15 August

6.30pm: Training at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper

Sunday 16 August

6.30pm: Training at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper
