The four Barça players taking part in EuroBasket 2015 have all had a very positive Wednesday indeed with victories for Perperoglou, Tomic, Satoransky and Ribas.
Perperoglou played eight minutes and scored two points in Greece’s 83-72 win over Slovenia. Their last game of the group phase comes on Thursday and with top spot already assured they will face the fourth placed side from group D in the next phase.
Ante Tomic started Croatia’s 78-72 win over Holland. The Barça centre played 25 minutes and scored 13 points. Their last game is against Georgia on Thursday with their place in the next phase already assured.
Satoransky was one of the heroes of the Czech Republic’s nailbiting 66-64 win over Belgium. The Barça guard started in the game and scored 14 points, 9 assists in the 34 minutes he was on the court. The Czech are through to the next phase ahead of their last group game on Thursday against Lithuania.
Pau Ribas was a key factor in Spain’s 99-73 won over Iceland. In the starting five, Barça’s new signing scored six point and picked up five rebounds in 23 minutes on court. Spain still need a result in the last game of the group stage on Thursday against Germany if they are to make through to the last 16 of EuroBasket 2015.
