The draw for the 2015 FIFA Club World Cup will be held on Wednesday in Zurich, Switzerland at 2pm CET.
At the moment, four of the seven participants for the competition set to take lace between 10 and 20 September, one of which is FC Barcelona who enter due to winning the UEFA Champions League last season. Representing Barça in Zurich will be director of professional sports Albert Soler and director of football administration Raul Sanllehí.
The other teams who have booked their place in the competition are River Plate (Copa Libertadores winners), Club América (CONCACAF Champions League winners) and Auckland City (OFC Champions League winners).
The remaining three clubs will be the winners of the Asian and African Champions Leagues, as well as the Japanese League champions as guests. These three participants will be announced in November.
One of the conditions of the draw is that Barça and River Plate go directly into the semi-finals and on opposite sides of the draw. Therefore, the Catalan club and Argentine side can only meet in the final.
