Celta Vigo v FC Barcelona by the numbers

A numerical look back at an evening when Luis Enrique's side dropped the first points of their Liga campaign

The 4-1 defeat at Balaídos has put an end to Barça’s unbeaten run away from home of twelve games since going down at Anoeta on January 4.

Barça had not lost a Liga fixture 4-1 since 2007/08, when they lost by that score to Real Madrid at the Bernabéu.

Neymar’s goal at Celta was Barça’s ninth of the league season. All of them have been scored in the second half.

Barça completed 398 passes at Balaídos, while home side Celta managed 318.

The player with the most good passes on Wednesday night was Dani Alves (53), who also led the category in the previous game at home to Levante.

Despite defeat, the visitors still led the way in possession, with 55%.

Barça only committed four fouls in the whole game, while Celta were guilty of 18.

Barça were not caught offside a single time in the game, while the linesman’s flag went up seven times against Celta players.
