The Brazilian with his four goals against Rayo moves to the top of the goalscoring charts in the Spanish First Division with eight goals, two ahead of the Real Madrid pair Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema

It is not every day that a football players produces magic out there, neither is it common to see a footballer score four goals in the same game. Neymar not only did both against Rayo Vallecano at Camp Nou, he also moved to the top of the list of goalscorers in the First Division for the league season 2015/16.

With eight goals in eight league games, the Brazilian is now in front of Benzema and Ronaldo who both scored for Real Madrid earlier on in the day in their 3-0 win over Levante. This season Neymar has scored Atlético Madrid, Levante, Celta Vigo, Sevilla and now Rayo.

It is not the first time that Neymar has scored for goals in 90 minutes, but it is the first time that he has done so wearing an FC Barcelona shirt. The previous occasions came when the Brazilian was playing for Santos and for the national team.

The Brazilian has reached 62 goals in 101 games, an average of 0.61 goals per game. Two weeks ago against Sevilla, the Brazilian played his 100th game with FC Barcelona.
