FC Barcelona and Chang announced Wednesday the renewal of their sponsorship agreement for the next three years. This renewal solidifies the beer brand as a Regional Partner of the Club in Thailand, where the company is based, and ten other countries in the Southeast Asia market: Indonesia, Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, the Philippines and East Timor. This agreement, managed by the Club's office in Hong Kong, includes, among other things, image and association rights, corporate hospitality, digital assets and promotional rights.
The event, held at The Okura Prestige Bangkok Hotel was attended by, on behalf of FC Barcelona, the Club's CEO, Ignacio Mestre and its Asia-Pacific Managing Director, Xavier Asensi. Representing Chang was Prapakon Thongtheppairot, the Senior Vice President of Thai Beverage Company Limited. Also attending were: Ong-Arj Kosinkar, the President of the Thai Premier League; and Matthew Chantawanich, a famous Thai actor and TV host.
