The FC Barcelona facilities were witness to another supporters clubs-themed day to remember
Supporters club activity never stops and on Sunday four of them came to the Camp Nou for a historic day at FC Barcelona's facilities before the match between FC Barcelona and Celta.
More than twenty people from them Penya Barcelonista d’Atenes came all the way to Camp Nou to mark its 10th anniversary. After being received by the director of the Social Commission Santiago de Cruylles, president of the World Federation, Antoni Freire and the president of the supports club, Konstantinos Mastorakis inaugurated their shield on the Camp Nou facade.
Then, over forty supporters from the Peña Barcelonista Mondoñedo came to see their emblem on the Stadium. The honours went to Social Commission director, Elvira Pou; president of the Federation of Galicia, Salvador Cerviño; and president of the supporters club, Xusto Fernández.
Shortly after, the Penya Barcelonista Vitoria-Gasteiz Euskobarça presented the poster of the VIII Basque Country Supporters Clubs Meeting, which coincided with the celebration of the supporters club's 25th anniversary. The event was attended by the FCB Director Pau Vilanova and president of the Basque Country Federation and of the supporters club, Gorka Muñoz. The meeting will be held on the weekend of 4-6 March, coinciding with the match between Eibar and FC Barcelona.
As a finishing touch, the poster of the XII Baku de Penyes Barcelonistes of the Canary Islands was presented by director Pau Vilanova and president of the Federation of the Canary Islands and of the Peña Barcelonista Nicolas Casaus de las Palmas, José Yamal Hawach. This meeting will be held this weekend coinciding with the Las Palmas v Barça match.
The day was rounded off with Barça's 6-1 rout over Celta Vigo, led by the Messi-Neymar-Suárez show.
