A Penyes classic

For the third time the Selecció de Penyes of the Agrupació and a team from the Penya Blaugrana de Nova York took part in a friendly match the 19th of March.

The U-12 participated in a game at the pitches adjacent to the Miniestadi in a well-spirited encounter. Former player Paco Clos and the Agrupació representative Manuel Villalba attended the match, which has become a penyes classic. Before the match, Villalba handed over a commemorative plaque to Penya representative Event Rosental.

Aside from the result (3-6), the most important aspect was that the club managed to organise yet another pleasant gathering in which victory for Barça was always guaranteed.

The New York Supporters Club played in the MIC

The young Americans travelled all the way from the United States to Barcelona in order to take part in the MIC (Mediterranean International Cup) which was held in various areas of Girona between 22 and 27 March. The match organised by the supporters club served as an appetiser to their participation in this prestigious youth football tournament.
