Leo Messi to offer up his fifth FIFA Ballon d’Or to Camp Nou

The FC Barcelona striker has won the award for the world's best player for 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2015

Everyone on hand at FC Barcelona's next match at Camp Nou, set for Sunday night at 8.30pm versus AthleticClubBilbao, will get quite a treat. Actually, they'll be able to witness an event the likes of which has never before been seen. Nor is it likely to ever be repeated.

LionelMessi, who on Monday was named the world's best player and thus received the Ballond'Or — for the fifth time — will offer the trophy up to the crowd prior to kick off.
