FC Barcelona Lassa’s roller hockey team have secured their place in the quarter finals of the CERH European League with a 6-4 win away to Hockey Breganze of Italy on Friday night.

But it looked like it was going to be a very different story after 21 minutes, when the home side’s Catalan star Teixidó punched home his third goal of the night to put Breganze into a commanding 3-0 lead.

Second half goals from Matías Pascual, Panadero and Lucas Ordoñez of FCB got a cracking game back to 3-3, and then the latter added his second of the game to put Barça 4-3 ahead.

The Italians then pulled back level before Panadero and Marc Gual found the net late on to spark celebrations in the Barcelona camp.

The win means that the final game in Group A, at home to Iserlohn of Germany on February 6, is now a mere formality. Whatever happens, the Blaugrana are guaranteed second place, with Porto qualifying as group winners.

Barcelona's quarter final opponent will be either Oliveirense of Portugal or Liceo of the OK Liga, depending on the outcome of the final round of matches in Group D.
