Xavi Barroso will be staying at Barça Lassa for two more seasons until 30 June 2018 after the club decided to extend his contract. Barroso, who climbed up through the youth ranks, arrived at the club in 2006 and is into his tenth year at FCB.

The defender his being hailed as a future world best in his position and has done nothing but improve in his time in the Palau Blaugrana. Despite his age, he can already claim to have scored in two European League Finals, and is already a crowd favourite among the Barça faithful.
