The Blaugrana earn three more points in Seville against a difficult opponent
Barça Women beat Real Betis (0-3) in Seville in the match corresponding to day 22 of the domestic competition. The visitors dominated from start to finish, with Alexia, Martens and Mariona getting the goals.
The encounter began with Duggan taking advantage of a cross from Alexia, but her shot was saved by Dolan in the Betis goal. Lluís Cortés' side took control of the possession and despite some solid defending from the hosts, the Blaugranes were persistent in attack and eventually got their reward, Alexia scoring the opener (0-1, min 37).
Just two minutes after the break Lieke Martens fired the visitors further ahead, and Betis' tactical changes - playing with three centre-backs - played right into their hands. Barça's attacks were constant, Mariona hitting the woodwork before securing the three points with 10 minutes left to play.
