Another game in the ASOBAL league and another win for the blaugranes in an always tricky away trip to Bidasoa Irun. The 39-27 victory handed the blaugranes a 21st victory in 21 matches with Ian Barrufet leading the way with seven goals, aided by Dika Mem and Ludovic Fàbregas adding six each.
Barça dominated the encounter from the start and surged into an early lead at 11-4 after 10 minutes. By half time Carlos Ortega's team led 23-13, with Ian Barrufet scoring six in the first half alone.
In the second half the blaugranes continued their dominance, solid in defence and clinical in attack, the blaugranes led 32-23 before moving on to claim a 39-27 win which keeps them top of the table with a 100% record in the ASOBAL league.
