Another win for the Barça handball team, their 18th in a row in the ASOBAL, after a 41-27 victory in the Palau Blaugrana over Tubos Aranda. Petar Cikusa top scored for Carlos Ortega's team with eight goals as every blaugrana who stepped out on the court managed to get on the scoresheet. 

Come from behind first stretch 

The blaugranes began with intensity as goals from Sola, Djordje Cikusa and Barrufet took them into an early 3-0 lead. Nevertheless, the visitors from Burgos refused to roll over and came back at Barça to take a 7-6 lead with 10 minutes gone. The home side rose to the challenge and scored 9 of the next 11 goals in the game to go 16-8 ahead. By half time the team's advantage stood at 23-12 with Sola and Petar Cikusa providing the goals. 

In the second half the lead stretched out 14 goals with the whole team contributing. Manu Ortega's effort made it 35-20 with 12 minutes remaining on the clock as the blaugranes established dominance. 

The victory was never in doubt and the 41-27 win means 18 wins in 18 matches in the ASOBAL for Carlos Ortega's team. The next challenge for the handball section is a game in Europe on Thursday at home in the Palau Blaugrana against Zagreb.
