Barça beat Wisla Plock 30–24 at the Palau Blaugrana in an intense game that was decided in the second half thanks to a superb display from Nielsen and a rock-solid defence.

Neck and neck early on

The first half was tight throughout. Barça started sharply, with strong defending and an inspired Nielsen, whose early save launched the counter for a 2–0 lead. Wisla struggled with Barça’s pace and picked up early exclusions, but the Polish side stayed in touch and gradually grew into the game. Their improved attacking play was rewarded with a 12–12 equaliser just before half-time.

Pulling away after the break

The second half began with the same intensity, but Barça struck first, opening up a small gap through defensive solidity and fast transitions. Nielsen remained decisive, shutting down clear chances and helping his team run the court to reach 17–14. Wisla tried to respond, but Barça’s control only increased as they moved the ball well, punished mistakes and maintained a comfortable lead. A late run made it 29–23, effectively sealing the win, before closing the game at 30–24.
