The Barça handball team are into the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey after a comfortable win over Recoletas Valladolid by 37-23. Carlos Ortega's team dominated the encounter from start to finish to ensure a place in the semi-finals on Saturday at 5pm CEST against Bada Huesca. 

Blaugrana dominance 

Barça took the initiative in the game right from the start and the blaugranes were soon 10-4 up. Valladolid had little response and come half time Barça held an 18-9 lead. The script remained the same in the second half with Ortega's team ahead by 16 at one point. In the end the winning margin was 37-23 as the blaugranes take another step towards the Copa del Rey title.
