Barça are as rampant as ever on the handball court. The latest victim was REBI Balonmano Cuenca in the first league game since the World Championship break, and Barça carried on where they left off, winning. And winning in style.
After coming out wearing shirts in support of the victims of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, and parading the Supercopa Ibérica won a month ago, the players then set about winning a game with remarkable ease.
Cuenca managed to hang on in there for a while, but as Barça started to amass more and more of lead, there was never any doubt where this one was heading. 18-12 up at the break, Barça were putting on a show for the Palau Blaugrana faithful.
The second half saw them quickly go +10, the highlight being Pol Valera getting his first goal for the team, adding two more later on, as Barça finished off a thoroughly impressive Saturday afternoon's work.
