Dinamo Bucharest 30-35 FC Barcelona: Victory in Romania

Barça have picked up an impressive win in Bucharest to hold onto second spot in the EHF Champions League. Against the side coached by Xavi Pascual, boss of Barça throughout 12 glorious seasons, the top blaugrana scorers were Dika Mem (9) and Langaro (7).

Although the teams would only be split by five goals, the Catalans were the dominant force from start to finish.

Leo Maciel was particularly outstanding as Barça definitively broke away from the Romanians in the second half. But Dinamo were not easily subdued and with five minutes to go had managed to close the gap to just two.

It meant a far more intense finale than one may have suspected earlier, but Barça upped their game when it mattered and ended up claiming a the full set of points.
