Great afternoon at the Palau Blaugrana, as Barça won 5-3 against O Parrulo de Ferrol in the third Liga game of the season and second at home. Javi Rodríguez's team played at a high level against the recently promoted side who had won two from two. The blaugranes now have seven points and moved ahead of today's opponents in the league.

Excellent first half

Barça began with a clear desire to win and it took only three minutes for Pito to go close with a cross shot. O Parrulo weathered the blaugrana storm to some extent, but Matheus dribbled through and shot low to open the scoring (1-0, min. 7).

Matheus was leading the attack well, and Sergio González added a second after 13 minutes, prodding in to make it 2-0. This valuable lead was maintained when Dídac saved a double penalty for O Parrulo in the last minute of the half.

Closed out in the second

More of the same in the second half as Barça kept up the pressure on Starna's goal. O Parrulo resisted for 10 more minutes until Pito dribbled past the keeper for the third, and 4-0 came minutes later, as Adolfo finished a great team move.

All the same, the Galicians ended up scoring three times in the last few minutes of the game, first Orzaez, before Penezio made it 4-2. However, O Parrulo conceded a goal from Pito in the final minute when playing with a fly keeper that seemed to be the decider, albeit the Galicians grabbed another to make the final score 5-3.
