The next futsal season is starting to take shape. We now have the calendar for the regular phase of 2025/26 domestic competition. Barça will begin the season against Movistar Inter on the weekend of 6/7 September, with the next fixture against Osasuna Magna for the first game at the Palau Blaugrana. The FC Barcelona calendar will also include commitments in the Spanish Cup (19 to 22 March) and in the Copa del Rey (which will start on 16/17 September, reaching the final phase on 23/24 May).
The key dates
Sticking with the new approach in the 2024/25 calendar, whereby the games don't match in both halves of the season, Tino Pérez's side will have their first tough game in this first gameweek away from home to Movistar Inter. The opposite fixture will be at the Palau Blaugrana on 6 January.
Two games that the coaching staff will have been keeping a close eye are the games against Pozo Múrcia. The first game will be on 27 December in Murcia, while the opposite fixture will be played on 9 May in Barcelona.
Another game that will definitely be circled on the calendar are the clashes against Palma Futsal. The blaugranes will play the current European champion in gameweek 12, specifically on 29 November at home before the opposite fixture in Mallorca on 7 March.
The two games against Jimbee Cartagena will be on 25 October at the Palacio de Deportes de Cartagena and on 14 March at the Palau Blaugrana. Barça will be aiming to conquer the recent Liga champion in two matches that FC Barcelona fans are likely to be relishing.
Lastly, when it comes to the Catalan derby, FC Barcelona and Industrias Santa Coloma will cross paths in the Liga for the first time in gameweek 14. The derby will be played on the weekend of 13/14 December at the Palau Blaugrana and the opposite fixture will be on 28 March at the Pavelló Nou de Santa Coloma
The final phase of the Liga and the play-offs
The play-offs for the Liga title will begin a week after 30 games of the regular season have been played, which run from 6 September to the weekend of the 16/17 May, which Barça will bring to a close away to Oparrulo Ferrol. The knockout rounds will run from 28/29 May to 30 June this year, should five games be needed in the final to find out the champion. As is the norm, while the quarterfinals and semifinals will be the best of three games, the final will be the best of five.
