Futsal league trophy on display in FC Barcelona Museum

President Joan Laporta and director responsible for futsal Aureli Mas join Sergio Lozano, Dídac Plana, Jesús Velasco and Jordi Torras at the handover

The futsal league trophy is now on display in the Barça Immersive Tour in the former ice rink. After winning the final series 3-0 against Jaen, sports coordinator Jordi Torras, coach Jesús Velasco and captains Sergio Lozano and Dídac Plana took the trophy this Monday to be placed on show to visitors. They were joined at the event by president Joan Laporta and the director responsible for the section Aureli Mas.

The Spanish Super Cup and Copa del Rey are also on display following what Torras describes as "a good season. Unfortunately we were shocked in the Elite Round making this league more important than ever. It all worked out and we are able to contribute to Barça's first ever six out of six."

Lozano added that "I am proud to be at the best club in the world, which not only excels in football but also all these other sports. It was very important for us because we knew we had to win the league in order to play European futsal next season. We had a spectacular playoff."

Everyone then took the chance to have a look around the Barça Immersive Tour, which is replacing the FC Barcelona Museum while work is being done on the development of Spotify Camp Nou.
