Barça 3-4 Noia: Noia prevail at the Palau

It wasn't to be. The Barça futsal team lost their first game back at the Palau Blaugrana after the international break, going down 3-4 to Noia Portus Apostoli.

Jesús Velasco's side never gave up, but their opponents played a great game in their first visit to the Palau, Henrique proving his worth in goal. Ferrao - returning from injury after three months - Pito and Adolfo, scored the goals for the Catalans, but Alisson, Edu Jabá, Raggiati and Douglas Silva ensured the win for the Galicians.

Ferrao returns

The Palau crowd of 3,039 were soon celebrating Ferrao's return as he opened the scoring in the 1st minute after an assist by Carlos Ortiz (1-0). Noia quickly replied, however, Alisson scoring to tie the game (1-1, min 2). Barça had opportunities to retake the lead, but the visitors actually went ahead through Edu Jabá (min 17). Halftime score 1-2.

Pito quickly restored parity after the restart (2-2, min 24) and Adolfo almost immediately scored Barça's third, but was denied by the post.

Noia were more clinical though, Power Raggiati and Douglas Silva giving them a two goal lead with 13 minutes to go. Barça  pushed, but weren't having luck in front of goal and found Henrique in fine form. Adolfo scored to make it 3-4 with less than a minute to go, but time ran out before an equaliser came. Final score 3-4.
