Ribera Navarra 1-3 FC Barcelona: Still leading the way

Sergio González (2) and Sergio Lozano scores the goals and Dídac Plana makes the saves

Barça have won 3-1 at Ribera Navarra to boost their morale going into the cup. Sergio González scored a brace after Sergio Lozano had opened the scoring, and Dídac Plana was consistently outstanding in goal, and it all amounted to another win for the futsal league leaders.

But it had taken a long time for the goals to come at the Ciudad de Tudela. But the home side were also blessed with a fine goalie in Marcão. Sergio Lozano finally got things moving with practically the last kick of the first half. The game also witnessed Frenchman Mamadou Touré making his Barça first team debut.

Barça's top scorer Sergio González added two more to his account despite further brilliance from the home keeper, who also managed to make big contributions to his team's attack.

Navarra didn't score their goal until it was far too late to matter, and all eyes now switch to Granada, the venue from Thursday for the cup.
