The Barça futsal team picked up a crucial win at the Palau Blaugrana in the final game of the first round of league matches. Movistar Inter took the lead but three goal in the space of just three minutes from Matheus, Adolfo and Sergio González swung things dramatically the other way in an instant and Jesús Velasco and his team will be spending Christmas four points clear at the top of the table.
But, boy, did they have to suffer to get there. After Raúl Gómez has scored after just two minutes and Barça had failed to score in what remained of the first half, it was starting to look like the side from Madrid were going to collect a big win at the Palau. But what a difference two minutes can make!
The next challenge for the futsal team will be the Spanish Super Cup in the second week of the new year, where their semi-final opponents will be ElPozo Murcia on January 7.
