Manzanares 3-6 FC Barcelona: Winter champions

Whatever happens in the next round of games, Barça are mathematically conformed winter champions of the futsal league. The 6-3 win at Manzanares confirms that, and it's the fifth time that the team has led the way at the halfway stage of the season, having also won the honorary title in 11/12, 12/13, 16/17 and 21/22.

Not that it was easy. Especially in the first half, Manzanares made life very difficult for them and knew how to take their chances when they came

The home side scored first, but Barça responded well, with Dyego levelling four minutes later and Adolfo and Sergio Lozano adding two more shortly after the restart. Manzanares twice managed to cut the difference back to one goal, but each time Barça responded with another goal of their own, first through Sergio González and the second time when Adolfo pounded on defensive error to make it 5-3.

With the home side playing a rush goalie in an attempt to salvage something, they ended up scoring in their own net and that was the end of any hope they had of preventing a Barça victory

On Wednesday comes the visit of Inter to the Palau at 8.30pm CET.
