Noia 2-4 FC Barcelona: Prestigious victory

Barça are still top the league after a hard-fought victory on the road against a stubborn top flight debutant who are an impressive third in the table. Both sides showed their class and after a first half that ended without score, the second half brought six, four of them for FC Barcelona

That said, Barça felt they deserved to lead earlier. Matheus had a goal disallowed for a rather dubious decision and that created much tension for the following minutes, with the visitors increasingly frustrated by certain calls against them

Matheus scored again after the restart, this time 'legally' and the opening goal relaxed Barça's mood and Dyego and Pito then increased the advantage.

But the Galicians hadn't had their last say. They pulled two goals back and could very easily have got a third before Miquel Feixas struck half a minute from the end to put paid to the home side's hopes of salvaging anything
