Córdoba 2-2 Barça: Draw despite two great goals

A draw featuring some superb goals. Dyego and Adolfo helped Barça take a point away to Córdoba to maintain a six point margin at the top of the league table. Barça came back after a tough start, but couldn't come away with a win in the end.

Córdoba gave a guard of honour to the Champions League winners before the game, but the niceties ended there. The home side took the lead after an unstoppable moment of individual brilliance from Zequi.

Two goals in two minutes

Barça were finding it tough until Dyego stepped up towards the end of the first half to hammer in the equaliser. The away side were in the ascendency and Adolfo soon made it 1-2 with a superb finish, assisted by Feixas.

Córdoba come back to equalise

Barça were proving strong in defence and progressive in attack, but the home side eventually got back into the game, equalising through Shimizu. Feixas remained a key figure in the game, ensuring no further damage was inflicted.

The rest of the game was fairly open, but neither side could manage to claim the winner as the game ended in a draw, Barça adding another point and remaining top of the league.
