Goal on debut from Raphinha

Goal on debut from Raphinha

The Brazilian starts his first game as a blaugrana and provides two assists as well as finding the net himself

Spectacular debut for Raphinha in the 6-0 win for Barça over Inter Miami in Florida. The Brazilian played the opening 45 minutes which were enough for the new signing to show more than glimpses of what he brings the blaugrana squad.

The right winger was involved right from the off and he played a part in all of Barça's three goals in the opening 45 minutes of the encounter, scoring himself and provided two assists.

Wearing the number 22 shirt, Raphinha created the first goal of the game for Aubameyang, squeezing the ball through for the striker to finish cleverly early on.

The Brazilian followed that up with his own effort, volleying home Balde's deep cross with his right foot. Finally the winger created a goal for Ansu Fati by flicking the ball over the Inter defence for the young striker to lash home an unstoppable shot for a dream debut.

Christensen solid on his debut

The game also saw a debut for defender Andreas Christensen. The Danish centre back also started the game in Florida and played the opening 45 minutes.

In the number 15 shirt, the former Chelsea man kept the dangerous Gonzalo Higuaín quiet in the first half and looked assured with the ball at his feet. In short, two very promising debuts on a great night for the blaugranes.
