    Laia Codina transferred to Arsenal

    FC Barcelona and Arsenal have reached an agreement on the sale of defender Laia Codina to the latter. The club wishes the player every fortune and plenty of success in her personal and professional future.

    Codina, a 23-year-old centre back who rose through the youth ranks at Barça, made her senior debut in 2019/20. She spent 2021/22 on loan to AC Milan, and in 2022/23 played 15 games under Jonatan Giráldez.

    She has won a wealth of titles in her time at Barça, including three Ligas and two Champions Leagues.
