Melanie, Ruth, Alexia, Jenni and Marta Torrejón of FC Barcelona all started tonight’s game in Badajoz, while Leire and Olga both came on in the second half, meaning the only unused FCB member of the squad was goalkeeper Sandra Paños.

The side coached by Jorge Vilda got off to an early lead with goals from two former Barça players, Vicky Losada (8) and Sonia Bermúdez(min 25) and held on to that lead to make it nine points out of nine so far in group play. Next up is Montenegro on January 24.
