/92 days after their last defeat at Camp Nou in the league, Barça go down to defeat against Betis in an end to end encounter. Betis took the lead in the first half through Júnior and doubled their advantage before the break with an effort from veteran Joaquín.
In the second half Barça fought back with a penalty from Messi only for Lo Celso to score almost immediately at the other end. Arturo Vidal's goal was followed by Canales' effort for Betis before a late second from Messi on his return from injury led to a frantic last few minute in which Barça were not able to find the equaliser.
