FC Barcelona, the only club still alive in three Champions League competitions

The first team, the women’s team and the U19s remain alive in Europe’s premier club tournament

FC Barcelona remain the only club on the continent who are still in the three different formats of the Champions League.

FC Barcelona Women’s historic passage to the semi-finals of the UEFA Women’s Champions League on Wednesday means they, along with Luis Enrique’s men and the U19s, remain in Europen’s premier competition.

Goals from Jenni Hermoso and Mariona saw Xavi Llorens’ side into the semis against Rosengård and will now face PSG.

It was PSG who the Barça first team famously defeated 6-1 to overturn the 4-0 deficit of the first leg to see the first team into the quarter-finals.

Meanwhile, the U19 side are in the Final Four after seeing off Dortmund - a tie remembered for that wonder goal scored by Jordi Mboula – and then Porto. The youngsters now face Salzburg.

Therefore, Barça remain the only team still alive in all three Champions Leagues, followed by Real Madrid with two, and Juventus, Bayern Munich, Monaco, Borussia Dortmund, Atlético Madrid, Leicester, Benfica, Salzburg, PSG, Lyon and Manchester City/Fortuna Hjørring in one.
