First session of Barcelona derby week

FC Barcelona trained on Monday to continue preparing for their league match against Espanyol at the Camp Nou on Saturday. It is the first Barcelona derby of the season and it comes in the third La Liga fixture of the campaign. Ernesto Valverde coached the available first team players in a session on pitch number three at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

From Tuesday onwards, Ernesto Valverde will start getting his international players back from their time with their national sides. After this Saturday’s game, the blaugranas prepare for their debut in the 2017/18 Champions League against Juventus at 8.45pm CET on 12 September.
