He’s one of the family now. João Cancelo has completed his first training session under the orders of Hansi Flick. The Portuguese full-back, unveiled this Tuesday on his return on loan to the club, got to meet his new team-mates and was reunited with familiar faces from his previous spell in blaugrana.

The session came in the build-up to Racing Santander fixture in the Copa del Rey round of 16, with training taking place at the on the Tito Vilanova field at the Ciutat Esportiva. Cancelo trained alongside all available first-team players, as well as Tommy from Barça Atlètic, as preparations continued for the clash with the Cantabrian side, current leaders of the Segunda División.

It was the final session before the trip to Santander, scheduled for Thursday morning, when the squad list for the match will also be announced.
