Roony Bardghji is living the dream. After arriving at Barça and completing his first training sessions in Barcelona under Hansi Flick, he packed his bags for the Asian Tour, where he has featured in the first two friendlies, scoring in the first on his debut as a blaugrana.
Now, the young Swedish winger reflects on his first days as a Culer, and he’s more than happy with everything he’s been experiencing. “The first few days have been incredible" he says. "My teammates are really looking after me, and I’m enjoying every day as a Barça player.”
Bardghji also admits he has always been “a Barça fan, and I have always trained with the aim of playing for Barça.” That’s why, he says, “it feels very natural to be here, and Hansi’s style suits me really well.”
In short, he may have only just landed at Barça, but he’s clear about one thing: “I feel at home. I’ve fitted in really well with my teammates and I’m very comfortable.”
