The first leg between FC Barcelona and Internazionale ended in a 3-3 draw after a frenetic 90 minutes in the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys meaning all will be decided next Tuesday in Milan. "The second leg is still to come and we have to win it. It's a final before the final," said Barça boss Hansi Flick in his post-game appearance on Tuesday. "We have 90 minutes to get to the final, our objective. We have a chance," he added.

The German coach also reflected on his team's poor start to the game. "We didn't start well. We conceded two goals but then we did come back. We have to defend better," analysed Flick. "They showed that they are a great team with a lot of experience. They took advantage of set pieces. This is the semi-finals of the Champions League and the best team remain. Inter are really good and tough," said the blaugrana boss of his team's opponents.

"Lamine Yamal is a big game player"

Without doubt one of the stand out performers for Barça was Lamine Yamal. "He showed us the way because making it 2-1 was really important. He's a fantastic player and you see his quality in big games. It's great to have him here," added the German. The team also played its part according to the coach: "They gave everything and we can be proud. We played well and kept our style and picked ourselves up after conceding twice."
