Smiles and two new faces at training after the Alavés win

Ter Stegen and Raphinha complete part of the session with the group as they continue their return from injury

Happiness abound during Barça's Sunday training session after a second consecutive win and a solid all-round performance in the Basque Country. The blaugranes were worthy winners against Alavés, another pointer towards the recent positivity around the Club.

Furthermore, and with an eye on the upcoming business end of the season and the Champions League return, Xavi Hernández could count on a couple of quality returnees in training today, namely Marc-André ter Stegen and Raphinha.

Both keeper and winger completed part of the training with the group as their recoveries from their respective injuries progress. Let's not forget that the German stopper had an operation for back issues in December and the Brazilian wideman picked up a left thigh injury during the Spanish Super Cup semifinal at the start of this year. Both are working hard to rejoin the squad and make themselves available for selection.

This post-match recovery session saw Xavi Hernández and the coaching team put every available first team squad member through their paces, plus youth players Juan Hernández, Hugo Alba and Cristo. Two rest days now follow, before a return to work to start to prepare for Sunday's game against Granada at the Estadi Olímpic (21.00h).
