FC Barcelona visits the Estrella Damm Brewery
The Barça first team paid a visit to the Estrella Damm Brewery in the El Prat de Llobregat, just outside Barcelona, taking a tour of the facilities of one of FC Barcelona's sponsors. The players were accompanied by coach Xavi Hernández as they took the opportunity to learn the correct way to pour a beer.
The players and coach were not the only FC Barcelona representation present as sporting vice president Rafael Yuste; Juli Guiu, vice president of marketing, Mateu Alemany, director of football, Jordi Cruyff, FC Barcelona sporting director and Enric Masip, member of the Presidential cabinet were also present.
The FC Barcelona party were met by Ramon Agenjo, Damm adviser and vice president of the Damm Foundation, and by Karen Peiró, beer expert, who accompanied them during the visit during which they were shown the facilities as secrets such as how Estrella Damm, official FC Barcelona beer, is made.
As part of the visit, the players took part in the "Best poured Estrella" challenge in four teams captained by Frenkie de Jong, Marc ter Stegen, Robert Lewandowski and Pedri, getting the chance to show their talents at pouring the perfect beer under the watchful eye of Karen Peiró.
