Friday recovery session

The first team was back at work on Friday morning to prepare for the next game, which won’t be until next Thursday and the trip to Bilbao to face Athletic Club in the quarter finals of the Copa del Rey.

FC Barcelona are not involved in Sunday’s Spanish Super Cup Final, and hence have the rare experience ahead of a weekend without a fixture.

Today’s session on the Tito Vilanova field at the Ciutat Esportiva featured the welcome sight of Martin Braithwaite joining the exercises with the rest of his team-mates after spending the last few days working out with Barça B.

The team will train again on Saturday, again at 11.00am CET.
