The squad for Mallorca

Xavi Hernández has announced his first squad of 2022, which is for the game on January 2 away to Mallorca. 

The list of 21 names is as follows: Ter Stegen, Piqué, R. Araujo, Riqui Puig, Neto, Lenglet, L. De Jong, F. De Jong, O. Mingueza, Umtiti, Eric, Iñaki Peña, Nico, Jutglà, Álvaro Sanz, Comas, I. Akhomach, Guillem, Estanis, L. De Vega and Mika Mármol.

First session of the year 

After a day off on New Year’s Eve, the players were back at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper for an evening session in preparation for the trip to the Balearic islands. The first team regulars were joined by Jutglà, Álvaro Sanz, Comas, Mika Mármol, GuilleM, Lucas de Vega, Ilias and Estanis of Barça B. 

Samuel Umtiti was able to train as normal after testing negative for Covid in his latest PCR.
