Date and place of birth: 19/01/2003 (Conakry, Guinea)

Arrived at Barça: He came to Barça in 2010 at the age of seven from Espanyol. The U8C team was his first squad and currently he is officially a Barça B player. 

Debut for the first team: 21 January 2021 he made his first appearance in the Copa del Rey against Cornellà playing 73 minutes after being included in the starting XI. 

Games played: 8 matches, 276 minutes. 

Goals and assists: 1 goal and 2 assists. 

Culer since the age of 7 

It will not be easy for Ilaix Moriba to forget 21 January, 2021, the date the Barça B midfielder made his first team debut against Cornellà in the Copa del Rey. Moriba played 73 minutes before being substituted just days after celebrating his 18th birthday. 

Moriba is a powerful, hard working but technically gifted midfielder who also has a nose for goal. Those characteristics have made him a familiar figure in Ronald Koeman's squad and he has made eight appearances for the first time, two as a starter. Furthermore, he has scored his first goal and provided two assists. 

His ability to learn and get better means he is a player with a great future ahead of him. 

He came to Barça at the age of seven and progressed rapidly through the age groups. Ilaix has shown himself to be a player with character who also has leadership abilities on the field. Born in 2003 when he was a member of the U19A squad he was playing against players who were one, two and three years older than him.
